The Bridge Community

The Bridge Community is located in an Irish town called Kilcullen, about 40km from Dublin, and is part of a worldwide organization called Camphill. Based on Rudolph Steiner's doctrine anthroposophy, this organization has more than 100 communities worldwide.

The Bridge Community has about 30 residents, including Irish adults with special needs (autism, Down syndrome, C.P., etc.) and volunteers from all over the world. They share community life and live in 3 different houses in Kilcullen. The basic rule of the Camphill communities is: Everyone contributes as much as he or she can and receives as much as he or she needs.
